On a chopper to the pitcher off the bat of Nat Torres, Ryan Orvis scored from 3rd base with the bases loaded and one out in the bottom of the 7th for the Badgers to edge the visiting Lee Williams Volunteers in a seesaw battle that saw 24 hits between the two teams. The Prescott pitching duo of Tristan McKown and Jack Burton gave up 14 hits but got outs when it counted to end threats in the 1st, 3rd, and critical 7th inning. Andrew Lyon scored 3 runs on 2 hits and an ROE. Ryan Orvis went 3 for 4 with a double, 3 RBI and 2 runs, including the game winning run. Jack Burton scored a run after he got his 9th double of the year with a towering shot that almost left the park. Jed Rummage took advantage of his only plate appearance with a hit, stolen base and a run scored. The win took the Badgers season record to 6-4-1 with just two games remaining.
