Badger News · Boys Golf ranked 10 in State

Bradshaw, Coconino, Prescott match @ Prescott Country Club

The boys turned in their best team score of the year to finish in first place at Prescott Country Club Tuesday afternoon.

With weather conditions near perfect, Carter Libis led the way with an even par 36. Carter birdied his last two holes to get back to even which was good for first overall. Chance Hill and Nick Ruhrer followed with rounds of 39. Finishing out the scoring for the Badgers was Brent Chambers with a score of 40.

The Badgers team score of 154 was their best score of the year and good enough to move them past Mesquite for 10th place in the state rankings.

If the season was to end today the boys would qualify for the state tournament. Their scoring differential of 15.01 for the season is the lowest Prescott has ever had.

With their last home match tomorrow the boys are positioned very nicely going into the last week of the regular season. Go Badgers!
